I received the following mail from USCIS. I had my birthdate wrong on my I-797 approval notice for F1. My school advisor had mailed the service center, and today I received this email from CRIS. Please let me know what this means exactly.
Current Status: We mailed you an amended notice.
On January 27, 2009, an amended notice on this case was mailed describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before receiving our notice, call customer service. If this I539 APPLICATION TO EXTEND OR CHANGE NONIMMIGRANT STATUS is still pending, you will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. Just a quick update, the company B confirmed that they are going to provide me EVL mentioning me as FT. I gave them the below format which I got from the forum and they are ok with it. Now my question is do I need to invoke AC21 when I join company B, will there be any issues to my wife who is on EAD with my original petitioner A?

For tax purposes you are resident of state where you reside. For best opinion you can check with the international students center at your school. It is not illegal to attend classes online if your school allows you the option. Again for best advise contact international center they are supposed to guide you to keep your status legal.

I have my green card interview end of this month in Indianapolis. Not sure why I was called for interview at this time as I have a EB3 India case with a PD of June 2007. I am a july 2007 filer. I was wondering if someone can recommend me a good immigration lawyer around Indianapolis to accompany us for the interview.
I recently used my EAD and moved to Indianapolis. Not sure if that triggered the interview. Any genuine help would be appreciated.

you can file a new application from scratch in EB2. you will not be able to use your husband's PD. And there will be no interuption to any case.
