Hi,
I am on h4 visa now.It expires in Sep14,2011 .I have a company that wants to sponsor my H1 visa.the start date for the h1 visa would be 1st Oct,2011.
Does this mean that i will be out of status for Sep14-Sep30, will i have to file for my h4 renewal for that period.also,would it affect my new h1 petition.

You can use the approved I-140 from company A to get a 3 year H-1 for company B assuming your priority date is not current. However, because you have not been working for company A, you are technically not in valid non-immigrant H status and though Company B's H-1 petition should be approved for three years, the extension may not be granted. This means that at some point you would have to leave, get a new H visa and then return.

i know what you're talking about - this obsession w/pre-adjudication is ridiculous!i for one support dismantling the current vb based 485 filing lottery system that utterly makes no sense whatsover! let people file 485 as and when 140 is approved and get rid of this cynical vb based filing -

Now that it is 180 days Since Jul 2nd and some of us are thinking about AC21. Some are invoking AC21 and sending the documentation as soon as they change jobs and others are thinking of not informing the CIS (AFAIK Informing CIS is not mandatory as per AC21).
A friend of mine changed jobs 3 times after filing I485 never informing the CIS and got his GC without any RFE. He has the luxury of the lawyer who originally filed the I485 work with him and the company never revoked I140(because they laid him off). Another friend sent the documentation about invocation of AC21 and got RFE.
It is expressed in other related threads to start a poll so that we can have an idea of trends in AC21 usage.
This is a simple poll.

On Kodaks website they currently are offering a $1000 rebate on the 14N! Is this signalling the end of the 14N, certainly a full frame sensored camera has to cost more to produce than a 1.3 cropped 1D even though the canon is certainly a better Camera.

And what does this mean for Kodak? They have annouced the end of their Digital Pro Backs and it appears that the 14N may die does Kodak have something up their sleaves or are they settled with competing for consumers?

It all depends on their background check and security requirements.
As a non-US citizen your EAD has the same worth as a H1B for these jobs. Same is the case for LPR's for US Federal jobs with various security clearance checks (where only US Citizens can apply).

If you travel while I539 is pending, your 539 will be considered abandoned.
Its better to travel anyway if you are planning on it and then apply for visa.
Also do not use friends address. Once you move, you can file for AR-11 online and at that time it gives you an option to link any pending petitions to the address you just changed.

Thanks a lot, I do like these 3 too.
I tried play with DOF and use different aperture, with guitar it didn't look good because of rough light and with mixer and turn table it was client desire to have it blurry, but it still turned really well.
I still exploring all the possibilities of this camera.
